RENT OR BUY PREMIUM CAMPING GEAR
By adding Accidental Damage Cover, you agree to the Terms & Conditions.
We get it – accidents happen, especially outdoors. That's why Gear Again offers Accidental Damage Cover, giving you extra protection if your rented tent or equipment gets accidentally damaged during your trip.
With Accidental Damage Cover, you won’t have to worry about paying the full replacement cost if something goes wrong. It covers common rental items like the tent body, poles, stakes, guylines, footprint, and any other standard accessories included in your booking.
Accidental Damage Cover protects against unintentional damage during normal use. This includes issues like torn tent fabric, snapped poles, or broken stakes from regular camping activities.
You're still responsible for looking after your rental gear and keeping it safe at all times.
Accidental Damage Cover is a waiver of liability, not an insurance policy. It’s a simple agreement between you and Gear Again to limit your costs if something gets accidentally damaged — subject to the conditions above.
It doesn’t cover trip cancellations, personal injury, or third-party damages. For wider protection, we recommend arranging your own travel insurance.

The Wild Country Blizzard Elite 2 is a lightweight 4-season tent built to handle serious mountain weather while remaining compact enough for backpacking. Weighing just 2.35kg, it offers the perfect balance of strength, space, and portability for two-person expeditions or solo campers seeking extra comfort.
Its semi-geodesic design provides excellent stability in high winds, while dual doors and porches make it easy to manage kit and entry in poor conditions. The flysheet and inner pitch together, ensuring fast setup and keeping the inner dry in bad weather.
With robust alloy poles, high-spec waterproof fabrics, and reinforced pegging points, the Blizzard Elite 2 is built for the unpredictable — from winter wild camps in Snowdonia to stormy nights in the Lakes. Despite its strength, it still packs down small (42x16cm), making it a serious tent for adventurers who go year-round.

Your equipment is delivered via tracked courier before your rental starts. After your trip, pack it back up, attach the prepaid return label, and drop it off at a designated point. Your return label will be sent to you via email 2-days before the end of your rental.
We aim to deliver your gear 1–2 days before your rental begins, so you’re ready to go.
Use the return bag and prepaid label included in your box. Just drop it off at the closest drop-off location. No printer needed.
If anything gets damaged during your trip, let us know as soon as you can. We understand accidents happen — small issues like a bent peg or a torn guy line are usually covered by our accidental damage protection. For more serious damage, we’ll assess it fairly and only charge if necessary. Transparency and trust are key — no hidden fees or surprises.
When you place your rental order, we apply a temporary security authorisation (also known as a pre-authorisation or card hold) to your payment card. This is not a charge, but a hold to ensure funds are available in case of damage or missing items. The hold is automatically released once the gear is returned in good condition, with no action needed on your part.
This optional add-on limits your liability to just £50 if any part of the tent or included accessories (e.g. poles, flysheet, pegs, footprint) is accidentally damaged during your rental. It does not cover theft, loss, or damage caused by negligence, misuse, or failure to follow setup and care instructions.
You can cancel or amend your booking up to 72 hours before dispatch. Just email us and we’ll help you out.
