Gear Again Tent Rental Agreement

 

By renting equipment from Gear Again ("we", "us", "our"), you ("the Customer") agree to the terms below. Please read carefully before placing your order.

 

1. Equipment Rented

 

This agreement applies to all tents and accessories rented through our website.

 

2. Rental Period

 
       
  • The rental period starts on the dispatch date and ends on the return date you select at checkout.
    •    
  • Equipment must be posted back on or before the final day of your rental using the prepaid return label provided.
    •  
 

3. Fees & Charges

 
       
  • Rental fees are shown at checkout and must be paid before dispatch.
    •    
  • Late returns may incur a fee of £10 per day.
    •    
  • Significant damage or loss will result in repair or replacement charges.
    •    
  • A £15 cleaning fee may be charged for excessively dirty or wet returns.
    •    
  • No security deposit is taken by default. However, in some cases (e.g. high-value gear or first-time renters), we may request a fully refundable deposit. If taken, this will be clearly shown at checkout and refunded in full within 7 days of a satisfactory return.

4. Customer Responsibilities

 
       
  • Use equipment responsibly and for camping purposes only.
    •    
  • Keep gear secure at all times. This includes not leaving gear unattended in public areas or unsecured at campsites.
    •    
  • Return all items in good condition (fair wear and tear is expected).
    •    
  • Report any damage, loss, or theft as soon as possible.
    •  
 

5. Damage, Loss & Cleaning

 
       
  • You are responsible for any major damage, theft, or loss during your rental period.
    •    
  • We’ll assess charges fairly and share evidence before applying any fees.
    •    
  • Non-returned items will be charged at full replacement cost.
    •  
 

6. Cancellations & Refunds

 
       
  • Full refund if cancelled more than 7 days before dispatch.
    •    
  • 50% refund if cancelled 3–7 days before dispatch.
    •    
  • No refund if cancelled within 72 hours of dispatch.
    •  
 

7. Liability Disclaimer

 

Outdoor activities carry risks. We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage caused by the use of rented equipment. You accept full responsibility for your safety and actions.

 

8. Ownership

 

All equipment remains the property of Gear Again. You may not sell, sublet, or retain rented items beyond your rental period.

 

9. Governing Law

 

This agreement is governed by the laws of England, Wales and Scotland. Any disputes will be handled under UK jurisdiction.
